THE OLD RUN ENDED.THE NEXT ONE STARTS HERE.
Thirteen national titles belong to our record. The next team still has to be built. RFC Märjamaa is moving beyond one annual reunion and working toward regular training, reliable numbers and a new generation of players.
ONE JERSEY. ONE WEEKEND. NOT YET A FULL-TIME CLUB.
RFC Märjamaa still comes together for the Estonian Olympic Rugby Championships. Around five Vikat players train regularly during the year, mostly inside Tallinn Kalev’s active environment, but Märjamaa itself does not currently run a consistent weekly programme.
We can assemble seven players. With enough calls, twelve or thirteen may answer. That is enough to compete once. It is not enough to build rhythm, welcome newcomers properly or give the club a future of its own.
The rebuild is straightforward: regular sessions in Märjamaa and/or Tiskre, more adults, a separate U16–U18 pathway and enough people behind the scenes to keep everything moving.
SEE HOW TO JOINA SMALL CORE. A LARGE JOB.
These are not campaign numbers. They are the honest starting point for the new generation.
FIVE PRACTICAL PRIORITIES.
We are not raising money for polish. We are trying to create the conditions in which a team can exist every week instead of once a year.
PLAYER RECRUITMENT
Reach adults who have never played, former players who may return and people ready to become part of the next squad.
MORE ORGANISERS
Share the work behind training, events, communication, recruitment and the everyday running of the club.
USEFUL EQUIPMENT
Balls, cones, bibs, tackle equipment and loan kit that make training easier and lower the barrier for new players.
WINTER TRAINING
Access to indoor space or a gym so the rebuild does not freeze every time the Estonian weather closes the door.
MEDIA & VISIBILITY
Photography, video, design and social media that remind people Vikat is not only a memory from Märjamaa’s past.
WE NEED MORE THAN MONEY.
A contribution can be financial, practical or personal. The best support is the kind that turns into another player, another organiser, another training session or one less obstacle.
NEW ADULTS. ONE U16–U18 PATHWAY. ONE CLUB.
The immediate need is adult recruitment. We want beginners, returning players and anyone willing to train with us in Märjamaa and/or Tiskre. Experience is useful, but curiosity and consistency matter more.
Alongside that senior rebuild, we want to begin a separate U16–U18 project through Märjamaa Gümnaasium. There is no youth team yet. The first honest step is to find interested young players, parents and adults willing to help organise it.
- Build an adult interest list for Märjamaa and Tiskre.
- Invite former players back without demanding a full-season promise.
- Start a separate U16–U18 recruitment route through the gymnasium.
REGISTER YOUR INTEREST. WE WILL OPEN THE ROUTE PROPERLY.
RFC Märjamaa is a registered non-profit association, but the club bank account is not currently active. Until it is restored, there is no fake Donate Now button. Contact us and we will keep the conversation open.
SUPPORT WILL BE USED WHERE THE REBUILD NEEDS IT MOST.
Unless a specific purpose is agreed in advance, contributions will support the club generally. We are prepared to publish a simple annual summary of money, equipment and services received, where the support went and what it helped make possible.
HELP US TURN AN ANNUAL REUNION BACK INTO A RUGBY CLUB.
The record is already written. The new generation starts with the people willing to show up now.
NO ACTIVE PARTNER WALL.JUST AN OPEN DOOR.
RFC Märjamaa currently has no active commercial partners. We would rather show an honest empty space than decorate the page with fictional relationships. The next names will belong to the people and organisations that help build the new generation.
A SMALL CLUB MAKES EVERY CONTRIBUTION VISIBLE.
We are not offering a stadium audience, hospitality boxes or a polished commercial machine. We are offering something simpler: a direct place in the rebuild of a proven small-town rugby club.
Support can help us recruit players, organise regular training, launch an U16–U18 pathway, secure indoor winter access, improve equipment, reach tournaments and tell the story loudly enough for people to notice that Vikat is moving again.
A partner will not disappear into a giant budget. The effect will be close enough to see.
SEE HOW TO STAND WITH US
THE ORGANISATIONS THAT STOOD WITH VIKAT.
These are historical supporters and important parts of the club’s story. Their inclusion does not imply a current commercial partnership.
GÜMNAASIUMThe local school and a natural home for the next generation.
VALDThe municipality connected to the place whose name the club carries.
THANK YOU, TALLINN KALEV.
For most of the year, the active Vikat players train inside Tallinn Kalev’s environment. Kalev gives us a place to work, compete and keep our rugby alive when Märjamaa does not yet have a regular programme of its own.
When the Estonian Olympic Rugby Championships arrive, the arrangement pauses. We separate, put the Vikat jersey back on and become opponents again. That rivalry is part of the fun. The open door throughout the rest of the year is something we value.
The aim is not to leave Estonian rugby cooperation behind. It is to rebuild enough weekly structure that Vikat can contribute as an active club again.
THREE GAPS A PARTNER COULD HELP CLOSE.
The open spaces are not status levels. They are the clearest parts of the rebuild where an organisation could make a practical difference.
FROM ONE ANNUAL PUSH TO A WORKING CLUB.
REGULAR TRAINING
Move from scattered individual participation to one or two weekly Vikat sessions in Märjamaa and/or Tiskre.
RELIABLE NUMBERS
Build beyond seven available players toward a squad with depth, continuity and room for newcomers.
BIGGER COMPETITION
Become stable enough to look beyond one championship and pursue opportunities such as Baltic Rugby Cup or league rugby in Finland.
NO GHOST BENEFITS. NO MYSTERY SPENDING.
Every partnership will set out the contribution, recognition and practical responsibilities clearly. The club is also prepared to report annually on money, equipment and services received and what they helped accomplish.
THE FIRST ACTIVE PARTNER WILL NOT JOIN A FINISHED PROJECT.
They will help decide what the next version of RFC Märjamaa becomes.
HELP BUILD A TEAM.NOT A SPONSORSHIP PYRAMID.
RFC Märjamaa does not need gold, silver and bronze theatre. We need useful relationships with people and organisations prepared to help a small club train, recruit and compete consistently again.
BUILD ONE PART OF THE RESTART WITH US.
The club does not need a sponsorship pyramid. It needs targeted help turning recruitment into attendance and attendance into regular training.
A partner might fund a local recruitment campaign, provide indoor access, lend a minibus, print material, supply equipment or help produce content. The useful question is not which tier you buy. It is which obstacle we can remove together.
We agree the purpose first, define what Vikat can genuinely return and show clearly what changed because of the partnership.
CHOOSE A PART OF THE REBUILDNO FIXED PRICE LIST UNTIL THE COSTS ARE REAL.
Every euro helps, but invented package values do not. These are conversation starting points. The contribution and recognition are agreed around the partner, the project and what the club can genuinely deliver.
BACK THE REBUILD
For individuals or organisations that want to strengthen the club without restricting the contribution to one narrow cost.
- Website acknowledgement when desired
- Social-media thank-you where appropriate
- Included in the annual support record
- Clear summary of how support was used
BACK A CLUB PROJECT
Choose one practical part of the rebuild and help us move it from an idea into something visible.
- Player recruitment campaign
- U16–U18 pathway launch
- Winter training access
- Equipment, transport or media project
BECOME A CLUB PARTNER
For an organisation that wants a visible place beside the club across a season and a closer connection to the rebuild.
- Prominent website logo and link
- Social and video recognition
- Banner or kit visibility where produced
- Partner story and annual impact summary
PROVIDE WHAT WE NEED
Transport, facilities, equipment and professional skills can be more useful than a cheque when they remove a real obstacle.
- Minibus, fuel or tournament travel
- Indoor space or gym access
- Printing, media, food or accommodation
- Equipment, kit or business expertise
The club bank account and direct donation route are not currently active. Contact us first. Any restricted purpose, recognition and practical benefit will be agreed clearly before support is accepted.
REAL RECOGNITION. NO INVENTED HOSPITALITY SUITE.
Benefits depend on the scale and shape of the contribution. These are the things the club can realistically build into a partnership.
WEBSITE PRESENCE
Logo, link and clear placement on the partner page and relevant club content.
SOCIAL RECOGNITION
Thank-yous and partner mentions on Facebook, Instagram and future YouTube content.
KIT & BANNERS
Logo placement on future training clothing, match kit or pitch-side banners where practical.
CONTENT & VIDEO
Partner mentions in photographs, campaign material and club videos when production is active.
RUGBY EXPERIENCE
An introductory rugby session, company visit or team appearance built around the partner.
A PIECE OF THE STORY
Signed team photograph, signed shirt when available and acknowledgement in the annual club record.
FIVE PARTS OF THE REBUILD.
A partner can support the club generally or agree a defined focus. General support remains the most flexible when priorities change during a season.
RECRUITMENT
Campaigns, beginner outreach and visibility that bring new adults into rugby.
U16–U18
Help begin the school connection and create a realistic youth pathway.
EQUIPMENT
Training tools and loan kit that let people start without buying everything first.
WINTER ACCESS
Indoor space or gym access that keeps the rebuild moving year-round.
TRAVEL & MEDIA
Safer tournament transport and the content needed to make the club visible again.
ONE CONVERSATION. CLEAR TERMS. USEFUL WORK.
- 01TELL US WHAT YOU CAN OFFER
Money, services, equipment, facilities, transport, visibility or one specific idea.
- 02CHOOSE THE PURPOSE
Support the rebuild generally or agree one defined project with a realistic scope.
- 03AGREE THE RECOGNITION
Confirm the logo use, content, kit, banner, event or experience the club can genuinely deliver.
- 04SHOW WHAT CHANGED
Complete the work and include the contribution in a clear annual support summary.
UNRESTRICTED SUPPORT GIVES THE CLUB ROOM TO ACT.
If a purpose is not explicitly agreed in advance, support will be used where the rebuild needs it most. This prevents a contribution from becoming trapped in one category while a more urgent club cost blocks the next training session, recruitment push or tournament.
BRING A RESOURCE, AN IDEA OR A QUESTION.
We will tell you honestly whether it can help and build the relationship from there.
